Iowa City Newborn Photographer | Baby Troy

This baby boy was born on Christmas Day! Talk about a nice gift 😉 I had a great time photographing him- our session went SO smoothly.  I really didn’t know what to do with myself because he was just so darn content and calm.  I have a feeling his dad is going to instill a little bit of rock ‘n roll in his life (check out his skull and crossbones tie down there- I didn’t know they made them that small!)

Oh, and you’ll be able to tell- but I love his little shoes!

Iowa City Baby Photographer | McKayla’s Christmas Shoot!

You may remember this little nugget (or likely not) from when she was in her momma’s belly.

I was SOOO excited to meet her, and of course like most things in my life, it turned into a photo shoot.  Be on the look out for:

1. the MOST priceless facial expressions!

2. the major ballerina potential in this little sugar plum fairy!

In September, I had the absolute privilege of capturing this beautiful family and their new bundle of joy Mia.

Lilly (big sister!) is a photographer’s dream. She was super helpful and ready for her turn. I told her to grab her favorite toy and book and we took some special one-on-one photos.  I don’t think I could say it enough- I could photograph her ALLL day long!

Then we had some sister-sister time, seriously some of the sweetest pictures I’ve ever taken!

Mount Vernon Family Photography | Carson & the B Family

A few weeks back I was able to hang out with this little cutie who was all the way from Pennsylvania visiting his cousins in Iowa.  Enjoy the B Family!
